Cage is thrown into combat of a war the world didn't ask for as aliens have invaded our planet. After he is killed, he continues to relive the same day over and over until he meets Rita and finds out she once had the same power. As they work together to devise a plan to defeat the Mimics once and for all, he and Rita discover the aliens have been one step ahead the entire time.
