When Andy is sentenced to two life sentences for the murder of his wife, a crime he knows he didn't commit, he finds a new way of life in prison with the friendship of Red and other inmates.  Through a series of trials, tribulations, and adjusting to his new life inside, Any finds a way to hold onto hope and eventually make his way out of the prison.  Frank Darabont directs an amazing cast with Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman starring in this stirring journey of two men and the friendship they develop against seemingly impossible odds in the modern classic, The Shawshank Redemption.
