Peter Jackson directs an amazing cast as J.R. Tolkien's master piece novel is brought to life on the big screen in the first of a trilogy of epic film's telling the grand story of a ring of power that must be destroyed if all of Middle-Earth is to survive. Frodo Baggins is giving this quest as he is joined by Strider, Boromir, Legolas, Gimli, Merry, Pippin, Sam, and Gandalf The Grey as they set out to Mordor to cast the ring into the fires to end it's power once and for all. They are tested along the way as they are hunted by Sauron's armies that threatens to break up the fellowship once and for all.
